Holidays and Breaks
Our preschool observes all public school holidays, and both winter and spring breaks. We are open during intercessions, Teacher Institute Day, and Teacher Work Days (waiver days). One extra day is taken off for the annual Hawaii Baptist Early Education Association conference in September.
Entrance Requirements
Children must be toilet trained and be age 3 or 4 by December of the current school year to be accepted into the three- or four-year-old class. Immunizations and Form 14 (DOE Student’s Health Record) must be completed by entrance date.
Our preschool is able to enroll up to 35 students total into its two classes – one for three-year-olds and one for one for four-year-olds. Lunch must be provided by parents daily.
Preschool Program
Weekday Early Education (WEE) Curriculum
A planned program of units with emphasis on physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual development.
Music
Lessons are held weekly, with singing, rhythm instruments, and creative movement.
Chapel
Weekly chapels are conducted by the church's Pastor.
Field Trips
Excursions are taken as they apply to the curriculum. Cost of admission is collected as needed. Parents are welcome as chaperons.
