Palisades Baptist Church facilities are located on the Island of Oahu nestled in the upper Pearl City area. We are a growing congregation with the desire to reflect what it means to be real followers of Jesus in the real world. It is our hope that what is produced out of our lives is a fruit of what God has done in our lives.

Our Interim Pastor is Rev. Danny Dickson.
Pastor Danny comes to us after recently completing his interim ministry at Nuuanu Baptist Church.
In his words, Pastor Danny recounts his call to ministry:
From the seventh grade I have been in Baptist Schools, San Marcos Baptist Academy, California
Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I served for four years in the
U. S. Navy. After that I began working at different jobs in Southern California.
While in North Hollywood, California I started attending First Southern Baptist Church, North
Hollywood, California. This was a time in my life when I really began to seek God's will. At this time
I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. And I was baptized by the authority of First
Southern Baptist Church of North Hollywood. I became very active in the church and began teaching
a boys Sunday school class. One night when the church was in revival I felt God's call to full time
Christian service. I went forward and the pastor asked if that call included preaching/pastor. I said if
God so leads I would do whatever He wanted. Soon after I enrolled at California Baptist University.
While there I began to preach weekend revivals all over Southern California.
After college I moved to Fort Worth, Texas and entered SWBTS. After a year in seminary I was called
to pastor Eastman Baptist Church in Overbrook, Oklahoma. It was there that the Lord gave me a heart
to pastor. And from that time, until I retired in August 2000, I have been pasturing. I am now called to
continue working with churches in their transition time. I have, up to this time, been blessed to serve in
six churches as Intentional Interim Pastor.
